Kantara, Rishab Shetty’s success story, has become a national movement. The picture has done well in all languages. Kantara started slowly in Hindi, but thanks to positive word of mouth, the picture has collected more than its first day on all subsequent days, which is significant as the film is already in its fourth week.

Kantara (Hindi) competed with Diwali releases Ram Setu and Thank God, but it is going so well that it has already surpassed Thank God and will surpass Ram Setu. Kantara’s collections are surprising since a month ago, nobody in the Hindi belt had heard of it, but now it’s outperforming Hindi biggies.

Kantara (Hindi) was the top Hindi film on its fourth Saturday, surpassing both new and old releases. Ram Setu and Thank God collected Rs. 1.25 cr and Rs. 40 lakh nett, respectively, while Kantara (Hindi) rose by 80 percent. Since the base is low and the numbers should have started higher, the growth % doesn’t relevant for these releases. Kantara is a Hindi Super-Hit and may become a Blockbuster if it continues to do well after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Drishyam 2, and Bhediya.
