Martha Stewart asked the singer to remember Thanksgiving
When Martha Stewart asked the singer to remember Thanksgiving this holiday season, Mariah Carey responded. See what the Christmas Queen had to say in the section below.
Despite the fact that Mariah Carey is the Queen of Christmas, she hasn’t forgotten about Thanksgiving.
The “We Belong Together” singer assured Martha Stewart that she was not skipping Thanksgiving Day after the host expressed concern about her Nov. 1 Christmas kickoff.
“Dearest Martha!! NEVER will I give up Thanksgiving!!” Nov. 3, Mariah tweeted. “But we can still start getting into the festive spirit now!”
Mariah, 52, then invited Martha, 81, over for the annual dinner at her home, although she noted that the cookbook author has never invited her over to her “Thanksgiving extravaganza!”
The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer posted a video of herself on Instagram on November 1 while she was dressed as a witch before changing into a Santa suit and riding a reindeer.
As her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” started to play, she screamed out “It’s time.”
Martha isn’t as excited about Christmas even though many of her fans are already doing so.
“Mariah, you know me. I am a traditionalist with a twist,” During her appearance on Today on November 3, she said. “You cannot give up Thanksgiving. Just because you don’t like turkey? I love turkey, and many, many other people love turkey.”
“So, do not think that we are going to give up Thanksgiving just because you say so,” the TV personality continued.
Dearest Martha!! NEVER will I give up Thanksgiving!! But we can still start getting into the festive spirit now! 💕 P.S I’d love to have you at my Thanksgiving dinner although I’ve yet to be invited to your Thanksgiving extravaganza! And THAT is MAJOR! Esp if Snoop’s coming! 🥳🎄 https://www.bolnews.com/entertainment/2022/11/martha-stewart-asked-the-singer-to-remember-thanksgiving/amp/

Even though Martha acknowledged that there aren’t any particular songs to celebrate the monthly holiday in November, she still thinks Thanksgiving is significant.
She said, “I think we need Thanksgiving,” “It’s sort of an uplifting remembering of good times past.”
