On the Wednesday, November 2 broadcast of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 30-year-old “Wolves” singer talked about the wardrobe mishap.
The discussion came about after host Clarkson, 40, commented on how “radiant” Gomez looked at the ceremony. In response, the Disney Channel alum revealed: “My dress was actually riding up the entire time, so a lot of people saw something they didn’t want to see.”
The singer wore a sparkling Celine dress for the big night, which was on September 12. The dress featured a figure-hugging skirt, a loose-fitting bodice, and a halter neckline. The founder of Rare Beauty accessorised the dress with a polished updo, eye-catching green tassel earrings, manicure polish that matched it, silver rings, a clutch, and platform heels.
Despite the fact that Gomez looked stunning, the slip underneath her dress was visibly tangled. The lining of the actress’ dress had risen past her thighs by the time she presented an award with Steve Martin and Martin Short, who costarred with her in Only Murders in the Building.
The pop diva continues to rule the red carpet in spite of the gaffe.
Gomez dazzled in a silk purple dress by Rodarte at the premiere event for her new Apple TV+ documentary, My Mind & Me, on Wednesday. The fanciful dress had a basic spaghetti strap on one side and a dramatic flowing sleeve on the other.
Gomez’s movie, which premieres on Friday, November 4, examines her battles with lupus and bipolar disorder.
She explained the following issues her disease had brought about in a 2016 statement to Us Weekly: “I’ve learned that lupus can have side effects, including anxiety, panic attacks, and sadness, any of which can be difficult to deal with. I’ve determined that taking some time off is the best course of action since I want to be proactive and concentrate on keeping up my health and happiness. In 2020, Gomez made her bipolar condition public.
In an interview with Rolling Stone on November 3, The Fundamentals of Caring star further opened up about her mental health battle saying, “It would start with depression, then it would go into isolation.” She added, “I thought the world would be better if I wasn’t there.”
The Texas native told the publication that she’s sharing her story to help others, even if it’s just “one person.
