The role-playing mobile game will only be available through Netflix Games again, according to a Netflix announcement regarding Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales’ comeback.

A lovely trailer for the mobile game, which is now accessible on your mobile device as long as you have a Netflix account, was also made available as part of Netflix’s Stranger Things Day celebrations via the show’s official Twitter account.

It was revealed back in August that the game would only be available on Netflix after its first release in 2021. As a result, Netflix declared that the game would be totally redesigned and it was taken down from the Play Store and App Store.

Netflix’s $72 million purchase of the game’s rights highlighted the company’s renewed interest in gaming.

As stated in a notice posted on the game’s official website at the time, “Stranger Things Puzzle Tales is moving to Netflix exclusively in late 2022! We have had many exciting adventures with you around Hawkins, and later this year, those adventures will be bigger than ever! We will be implementing some changes to the live game right now to get ready for this move. New players were unable to buy the game after that notification. The new version, however, is now available in the app store.

The fourth season of the show, Volume 2 of which debuted on the streamer on July 1st, 2022, is now represented in the game itself through content. In order to defeat enemies, players need to solve puzzles.

These include infamous villains like the terrifying Demogorgons. The website reads, “Enter the Upside Down! “, challenging users to do so “Do you dare explore The Upside Down’s depths? Only the most courageous and powerful individuals will succeed and profit from their risk.”

Players can amass up to 50 different iterations of their favourite show characters as they advance through the game. A “sheriff” Jim Hopper (David Harbour), a “escaped” version of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), and fans can even play as Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) dressed as the “Scoops Troop” are all included.

Stranger Things Puzzle Tales is now the third mobile game featuring characters from the Netflix original series.

In October 2017, Stranger Things: The Game was made available. Stranger Things 3: The Game came after it in July 2019. The wait for Stranger Things’ final season could be prolonged since production won’t start until 2023.

With Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, fans may at least get a fix of their preferred sci-fi horror programme in the interim.
