Wendy Williams’ financial advisor claims she is a “prisoner in her own home” and has been forced to employ armed security in order to safeguard her family from death threats.
Lori Schiller claims that she has experienced “hell” since the former host of a daytime talk show made the public accusation that she fired the Wells Fargo adviser.
I have armed police officers standing guard outside my house around the clock, sort of screening visitors. My life is starting to be impacted. She claims that she is “a prisoner in my own house” and that her continuous work on the account has put her family “at peril.”

She explains, “I feel like I’m kind of living in my own personal hell here.”
Despite what Williams alleges, according to Schiller, she was never let go and is still the account’s primary adviser despite the talk show host’s legal action against the bank.
She claims that her interactions with Williams, with whom she was “extremely close” for 12 years, have been “all nice.”

Despite the criticism she received from the public after Wells Fargo claimed in February that Williams, 58, needed a guardian, Schiller claims she has received praise from the bank internally for the work she has done to shield Williams from those who wish her financial harm — but the bank won’t publicly back her.
According to Schiller, who also notes that Wells Fargo is paying for her home security, “all I’ve done is obey the law to the letter, and I’ve been congratulated by Wells Fargo for all of my efforts.” “I’ve given them plenty of opportunity to defend me and offer a statement, but for some reason they are just throwing it to the side,” the speaker said.
Schiller and her lawyer, Anthony Mango, who was also present during the phone call, claimed that they were unable to share aspects of the ongoing case because there was purportedly a gag order in place within the litigation, which has since been sealed. But she did point out that Wells Fargo, not Schiller, sought out the guardianship over Williams because of a “pattern” of behavior that indicated problems.

She claims that “Wells Fargo took the lead.” “I just think people aren’t aware of how complicated what happens behind the scenes is.
Schiller continues, making reference to Britney Spears’ recent release from her own conservatorship, “It’s a particularly awful time for guardianships.
According to Schiller, the guardian acts as a liaison between Williams and Wells Fargo and was chosen soon after the bank’s initial petition. The author of “The Wendy Williams Experience” has access to the funds intended to sustain her livelihood, but the guardian will reject any requests that seem to come from someone who is “unduly influencing” Williams.

The financial security of our clients is at the center of all we do, a Wells Fargo representative told on Friday. However, we are unable to discuss staff affairs.
In May, it was informed by LaShawn Thomas, Williams’ former attorney, that the shock jock was “not in accord” with the guardian.
Wendy has made it abundantly clear that she does not want a financial guardian dictating how she should use her funds, Thomas added.

Williams “feels that she is capable,” Thomas continued, “of assembling her own team to work for her and not the court.”
Regarding my money, Wells Fargo has no questions or answers. That is unfair. In a video shared on social media, Williams claimed, “Lori Schiller and Wells Fargo have this guardianship petition about keeping me away from my money.
“This isn’t fair, and it’s not right either.”

But only a few months later, Williams would return to a rehab center to get help for her problems with alcoholism.
Schiller complains that “I’m getting the blame for her being in rehab.”
Williams finished her therapy in October, and at the time, her representative Shawn Zanotti told that she had gone home and was “healing.”

Williams added in a statement of her own, “Thank you to my fans for your love, support, and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.
Williams is doing “better than ever,” according to photos of her this week taken in her trademark purple chair, but Schiller claims that making Williams the bank’s and Williams’ scapegoat has cost Williams dearly.
I’m not interested in leaving Wells Fargo. I want it to work,” Schiller declares. I have given them ten months of my life to support me. They have to act honorably. To clear up any confusion, it’s really more about my future job and how I might further it from here.

Schiller complains that it’s unfair that she has received death threats. That, out of terror, my 11-year-old daughter must sleep in my bed.
