Anushka Sharma blasted sportswear company Puma on Monday for exploiting her photographs “without consent.” The actor asked the company to remove her photographs because she was not their brand ambassador, and when they refused, she posted a video of herself discussing their “pitch” on Instagram on Tuesday. Social media users quickly pointed out that the brand was using this as a promotional gimmick to generate online interest; some labelled it lame, while others thought the approach was “on point.”

In the video, Anushka sits in front of a mirror in a vanity room and talks out loud while her hair and makeup are done. She also looked at her hairstylist and make-up artist while she talked about working with the brand. In the caption of her Instagram Reels, Anushka wrote, “Considering @pumaindia’s proposal… What say?”
