Koreaboo reports that a Korean media outlet of TOPSTARNEWS published an article detailing the ARMY’s complaints regarding HYBE’s mistreatment of J-hope.

J-hope reportedly lost his bags at the airport on his way from Japan and had to handle the situation himself, which generated outrage. Since he had returned from a business trip, many people felt he should have a manager or staff to assist him.

The ARMY also brought up the release of J-debut hope’s solo album, Jack in the Box. ARMY asserted that BigHit and HYBE did not market the record with the same global vigor as they do for other members.

Fans felt it was unjust that BigHit and HYBE only provided a platform version, devoid of lyric sheets and even a CD, given the multiple album versions released for other artists.

Further allegations indicated that when the platform copy was launched, it was not available in major US retailers and was packaged in a tiny paper box with a QR code that was attached with a rubber band, with no description or marketing.

According to the source, many fans wanted to hear J-music hope’s on the radio but were unable to do so. One US radio DJ disclosed that they approached HYBE for the MORE file in order to broadcast it, but received no response.

The album was also released two weeks after the songs, which had an effect on global charting.
