Sharma was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later confirmed dead, according to a statement from the Mumbai Police.

She was tragically killed, and the removal of her body from the scene in the absence of police enforcement prompted questions. The police in a statement stated that they would look into the case from every angle available.

Sharma, who made her acting debut in Fitoor, committed suicide, according to the crew members who worked on the serial’s set. No suicide note has yet been discovered.

According to reports in Indian media, the 20-year-old posted a clip on Instagram from the set of her next TV show hours before she passed away.

She became famous by portraying a young Katrina Kaif in Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho. Together with Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, she also appeared in Dabangg 3.
