The viewership of the docuseries of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has overtaken that of The Crown.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have garnered more viewers in the first few weeks of their release than the hit Netflix series.

The Broadcasters Audience Research Board (BARB) reports that the documentary’s initial episodes, which debuted on December 8, had a total viewership of 2.4 million.

In the same category, the Crown was valued at 1.1 million.

According to Netflix, 73 million accounts from around the world have viewed The Crown, while Harry & Meghan has surpassed 81 million views.

Both series are presently among the top 10 most popular weekend television programmes.
