Drew Barrymore recently got a bit flustered by some flirty comments from an Emily in Paris star.

When Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie in the Netflix series, complimented the Charlie’s Angels actress on The Drew Barrymore Show on December 16, the actress was completely taken aback.

The blush-inducing incident occurred after Drew revealed the Emily in Paris cast members that her childhood idol was Darth Vader. Lucien took advantage of the opportunity to make a joke in the middle of his account when Drew inquired about how he got his start in the business “I’ll be your Darth Vader, by the way. Whenever you need.”

As for how Drew reacted? Her jaw hit the floor and she teased, “Wow! We have to go to a quick break.”

The 47-year-old then threw it back to Lucien asking him, “Who’s your childhood fantasy, out of curiosity?”

And, yes, Lucien kept the flirty energy coming. He noted, “I’m living the dream right now.”

The comment led Drew to put her hands over her face. While seemingly at a loss for words, she said with a smile, “This has never happened to me.”

As Emily in Paris actor Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who was sat next to Drew during this interaction, remarked, “She’s blushing!” it appears that Lucien’s statements not only left Drew largely speechless but also rather charmed.

Just two weeks after Drew stated she is back in the dating scene after six years of celibacy, Lucien and Drew engage in a flirtatious conversation.

On the December 1 episode of Drew Carey’s talk show, the actress, who has been married three times—to Jeremy Thomas from 1994 to 1995, Tom Green from 2001 to 2002, and Will Kopelman from 2012 to 2016—told Whoopi Goldberg the good news, saying, “Because it had been so many years, I started to get a little worried.”

Drew is dating once more, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like being single. Drew retorted “I love it too much.” in response to Whoopi’s explanation that travelling alone isn’t necessarily a negative thing.
