Gwen Stefani fuelled pregnancy rumours, and she fed the flames by making a cryptic post in which she hinted at a major surprise about to come, last month.

The 53-year-old singer, who is wed to Blake Shelton, posted a breathtaking snapshot of herself on Instagram holding up a long, rectangular object with a black and white GIF covering it to hide what was inside. The caption said, “It’s getting harder to keep this a secret.”

The moment Gwen held up a pregnancy test, fans flocked to remark, many of whom thought she was ready to announce the birth of her first child with Blake.

Kingston, 16, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 8, are the three sons she already shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

“You and Blake are having a baby! Makes perfect sense with him leaving The Voice to focus on a family,” One answered.

“You’re pregnant,” the second said. Added a third: “I knew it. I knew you were pregnant two months ago!”

Given that the photo was also published on the GXVE Beauty cosmetics line’s official Instagram account, it appears more plausible that the singer is getting ready to launch a new item in the line.
