Hansika Motwani & Sohael Khaturiya tied knot in traditional Sindhi ceremony
The wedding celebrations for Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya began in November in Mumbai with the Mata Ki Chowki ceremony.
At the Mundota Fort and Palace, which is close to Jaipur, the pair recently exchanged vows in a customary Sindhi ceremony. Photos show Hansika dressed appropriately in a traditional outfit, complete with crimson chooda and kaleere.
A Rajasthani-style derby game, a sangeet night, and a Haldi ceremony were the first pre-wedding events, which began on December 3 with a Sufi night. The palace’s unique floral arrangements helped to bring the lavish wedding ceremony to life.
Close friends and family members gathered for a Sufi night given by Hansika and Sohael. The Maha actress was spotted sporting a golden sharara ensemble, and her boyfriend was seen donning a kurta, leggings, and shawl with matching mirror work.
The centerpieces of the event were the breathtaking setup, the floral decorations, and their enchanting entrance. On the night of their sangeet, Hansika and Sohael danced to love songs before she lit up the stage with her performance of Kala Chashma by Katrina Kaif. Together, the couple looked lovely in Hansika’s pink embroidered lehenga and Sohael’s blue sherwani as they made their grand entrance. Under a sky full of blazing lights, the newlyweds and their guests danced till the early hours of the morning.
Hansika, the blushing bride, wore a yellow floral sharara to the Haldi ceremony, matching with her partner and her family who were also wearing the same pattern. Rituals and a round of traditional Punjabi music and dancing marked the ceremony’s conclusion.
