Stephen “tWitch” Boss committed suicide at age 40.

“It’s awful to hear that someone who gave so much joy was hurting,” Justin tweeted on Dec. 14. “I’ve known Twitch for over 20 years through the dancing community—he always lit everything up.

“SexyBack” singer uploaded two photographs of tWitch dancing. The first photo shows the Ellen DJ raising a woman above his head. The second photo shows him balancing on his toes.

Justin added, “Take care.” You will be missed, Sir. Rest Easy. “LOVE that human in the mirror. Check on your people.”

tWitch leaves behind wife Allison Holker and children Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3. Their ninth wedding anniversary was recently.

So You Think You Can Dance: All Stars alum delivered a statement after her husband’s death.

“It is with heavy hearts that I reveal my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker stated. “He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an example to his followers.”

“To say he left a legacy is an understatement,” Allison said. We will never forget him and beg for privacy during this terrible time for me and our three children.

“Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,” she said.
