Mean Girls has its clique. The ensemble cast includes Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, and Reneé Rapp (who played Regina George on Broadway).

Paramount plans a Paramount+ launch for the 2004 adolescent comedy musical.

Cady Heron goes from Africa to the suburbs of Illinois with her scientific parents and gets caught up in her new high school’s social structure. She joins The Plastics. Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams starred in the original film, which earned $128 million worldwide.

Rapp will reprise her role as Regina, first portrayed by Lohan (played by McAdams in the film). Lizzy Caplan and Daniel Franzese played Janis and Damien, respectively.

Lorne Michaels will produce with Mean Girls creator and actress Tina Fey. Fey will write the film’s narrative, with music by Jeff Richmond and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne will direct.

Rice, managed by WME and Sloane Offer, is recognised for her part in the Tom Holland Spider-Man films.

Immersive Management, WME, and Interscope rep Rapp for The Sex Lives of College Girls.
