Muneeb Butt has revealed that he would take on the most distinctive role of his professional acting career. In his future production, he has disclosed that he will be playing the part of a trans assistant commissioner.

With his upcoming production, in which he co-stars with Saba Qamar, the Baandi actor is prepared to shatter prejudices. Butt announced his untitled project on Instagram on Sunday, sharing his excitement for his new role.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be portraying the first trans assistant commissioner in my future project, breaking several preconceptions in our culture, he wrote in the description of the photo.

He noted that the position has been “Am really excited to announce that i am playing a very unique character of first intersex Assistant commissioner in my upcoming project. Something that breaks the stereotypes in our society.”

“I had been anxiously waiting to reveal the character that I will be playing soon. It has been the most challenging role I have ever had to play, where I had to truly get out of my comfort zone. Hope you enjoy the journey with me. Will be looking forward to your feedback.”
