• Bollywood actors Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez have been in the news since their names came up in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.
• In this case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also talked to the actresses.
• But now there is a new report that Nora has sued Jacqueline for libel, saying that Jacqueline made “defamatory imputations for malicious reasons.”

Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez were named in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekar. In this instance,  the actresses. Nora is suing Jacqueline for libel, claiming she made “malicious defamatory imputations.”

Libel:

Jacqueline’s written court petition states she wished to criminally slander the complainant to ruin her career for her personal advantage, as they work in the same field and have comparable backgrounds. This is Jacqueline’s defamation lawsuit. She stated the ED was wrongfully putting her in trouble while Nora Fatehi, who also received gifts from Sukesh Chandrashekhar, was appointed a witness.

The Facts:

Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have been asked a lot of questions by ED. Both of the actresses had their statements written down. It was said that the conman was also seeing Jacqueline Fernandez. The ED arrested Sukesh Chandrasekhar and Leena Maria Paul under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act because they were allegedly running an extortion ring out of Tihar Jail in Delhi.

On November 30, the Delhi Police Department arrested Pinky Irani and took her to court. She was put in police custody for three days.

Work-wise, Nora is a judge on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 with Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar. Aside from this, she was in the Thank God song Manike with Sidharth Malhotra.
