Prince Andrew went to church on Christmas Day with his brother, King Charles III, and other members of the royal family.

Even though Prince Andrew is stepping down from his royal role in 2019 and Queen Elizabeth stripped him of his military titles and patronages earlier this year because of his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, he attended the holiday service with the royal family at Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk on Sunday.

Andrew, who is 62 years old, walked with the family as they went to church. After the service, he talked to the priest. Then he joined the people who had gathered outside to say hello.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are both sons of Prince Andrew, also went on the traditional Christmas trip with their husbands. Christopher Woolf, Beatrice’s stepson, was also there.

After his bombshell interview with the BBC, in which he talked about his ties to disgraced financier Epstein, Prince Andrew said that he would “step back from public duties” in 2019.
