Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared some amazing photos from their wedding that were taken behind the scenes.

In May 2018, the couple got married at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel. The late Queen gave them the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Even though the wedding was on the same day as that year’s FA Cup final, thousands of people lined the streets to see the couple arrive. It was thought that the big day would cost a whopping £32 million, and most of that was for security.

In the fourth episode of Harry & Meghan, the couple’s highly-anticipated six-part series, which came out on Netflix Thursday morning, viewers got to see a number of amazing photos that had never been seen before.

Speaking about the build up to the ceremony, Meghan says she went into a “really calm space”. “I don’t know how I was so calm,” she adds. “All I wanted was a mimosa, a croissant and play the song ‘Going to the Chapel’.”

Meghan says that she knew there would be a lot of people at Windsor Castle, but she didn’t know that they would be standing on both sides of the street.

“It took 15 minutes to drive there. My mother and I were like, “Wow, there are a lot of people here!” What’s happening?”

Harry says that because he was “Diana’s boy”, there was an expectation to have a big public wedding.

“Mission complete with William, then lets see if this goes the distance with Harry and we can go ‘job done’,” he adds.

Harry and William, who was his best man, wore their Blues and Royals frock coat uniforms and medals to the wedding.

Meghan said that the whole thing felt “surreal” to her when she saw pictures of her walking down the aisle in her beautiful dress, which was made by British designer Clare Waight Keller.
