Robert De Niro is attached to star in. This will be one of De Niro’s first projects for television, Mr. Natural is a crime drama.

The actor is set to star in both the lead role and co-starring role in the upcoming crime drama Mr. Natural, which is being developed at Entertainment One.

According to sources, Robert De Niro will play a shrewd crook by the name of Baron, also referred to as Mr. Natural.

Baron, “fresh off a 30-year stint in federal prison, hits Palm Springs driven by a dream to reunite with his stolen family and a dangerous scheme to grab a taste of the Salton Sea’s lithium billions,” as stated in the logline, “hits Palm Springs driven by a dream to reunite with his stolen family and a dangerous scheme to grab a taste of the Salton Sea’s lithium billions.”

Mitch Glazer, the author of the drama, also serves as an executive producer on the project, along with Robert , Yellowstone’s Art and John Linson. Glazer hopes to turn the concept into a series that will run for more than one season.

In addition to starring in the upcoming limited series Zero Day on Netflix, De Niro, who is known for winning Academy Awards for best actor and best supporting actor for his roles in Raging Bull and The Godfather Part II, is also expected to star in the series.
