Superstar Kamal Haasan was among those who used Twitter to send wishes to the Darbar actor. He commented, “Happy birthday, Rajinikanth, my dear buddy and superstar. On this lucky day, I wish you continued success in your endeavours.”

Rajinikanth’s next film, Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, will be seen on silver screens. According to information only available to Pinkvilla, the team hopes to have a Tamil New Year release in April 2023. According to a person familiar with the situation, Jailer would be Kollywood’s major Tamil New Year release if the shooting goes according to plan.

The plan is for it to come out on April 14, 2023, and the production team is sure that Rajinikanth and Nelson will provide family-friendly entertainment. Jailer has all the necessary elements to honor Rajinikanth on the big screen while adhering to the storytelling style of a standard Nelson Dilipkumar movie, which combines comedy and thrills.

Along with other notable actors, the eagerly anticipated production will also feature significant performances from Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, and Vasanth Ravi. The movie’s main actress, however, has not yet been revealed.

On a side note, Dhanush has a compelling slate of films, including Captain Miller, which was directed by Arun Matheshwaran. The picture, which is being marketed as an action-adventure drama, is set during the American Revolutionary War era.

In addition, Dhanush will star in The Gray Man 2, the sequel to his Hollywood debut production Vaathi/Sir, and the bilingual film Vaathi/Sir from Venky Atluri.
