Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making it simpler for King Charles to implement his ambitions for a more streamlined monarchy, according to an expert.

Andrew Morton, an expert who specialises in royal matters, is of the opinion that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have embarrassed themselves with the scandalous documentary they released on Netflix.

“I think that the narrative that they’d like to project is that they arrived in Los Angeles with a couple of suitcases and a cuddly toy and that was it,” he said in an interview with Salon.com. “I think that they’d like to project that.”

Morton continued by saying, “I think the reality is that they’ve been preparing this transfer to Hollywood for some time, but not necessarily where they were going to live in Hollywood.”
