Eileen, which is based on the book by Ottessa Moshfegh, is a motivational story about finding personal freedom. The story revolves around a strange young woman whose miserable life seems to go on forever.

Eileen is seized when a drunken lady (Anne Hathaway) joins the jail staff. When Eileen’s newfound confidant involves her in a horrific murder that changes everything, just as the chance of a salvational relationship (or maybe more) takes root and creates a lone glimmer in her darkness, it turns out to be more than that.
