Corey Feldman and Drew Barrymore are strolling down memory lane. Feldman, 51, appeared Wednesday on The Drew Barrymore Show, where he and the presenter reminisced about when they briefly dated as kids. It was a happy reunion for the couple, who haven’t seen each other in 25 years.

Barrymore, 47, recalled their past by saying, “We partied, we didn’t party,” to Feldman’s joke, “We went sober together, we got un-sober together.”

Feldman emphasised that when they first met, she was 10 or 11 years old and he was between the ages of 12 and 13.

Years after the former child stars made their breakthrough appearances in the films of Steven Spielberg, who is also Barrymore’s godfather, the former child stars needed Feldman to remind her of their first date.

Barrymore endorsed his assertion:  “Oh yeah, I did… the biggest. But everyone did!” Her mother, actress and writer Jaid Barrymore, then coordinated a “play date” for the two of them.

Barrymore added that they were “years away from having our licences,” and the Goonies actress recalled, “Of course, none of us drove since I was still living at my grandparents’ and you were staying with your mom.”

“And it was so cute. I remember taking you to the movies, I remember exactly which movie theater it was,” He said, “We walked across the street, and you put your little hand up for me to hold. And I held your hand, and we walked across the street.”
