Eddie Murphy, a well-known comedian and actor, has revealed his plans to make a comeback. During his conversation with Complex, Murphy provided commentary on everything.

The Grammy Award-winning actor there even spoke on the ‘changing dynamic’ and the future of humour in movies.

For the uninitiated, Murphy has two projects planned and stated, “There are two other films that I’m supposed to do. And then I’m going to try to get some new material in and see if I could still do stand-up.”

Mainly because “[It’s a] whole different world since the pandemic.”

He even touched on the distinctions between humour from the 1990s and humour from now before stating categorically that “Most romantic comedies don’t have an edge to them.”

It’s also no secret that the political context today has rendered many previous jokes irrelevant or offensive, which is why “[You People] had this edge because of this racial conversation. And I thought that made it unique.”And I believed that made it special.
