Fans might have missed that Mendes actually debuted the ‘do before Christmas because the “Hitch” actress, 48, debuted her new hairstyle on Instagram on Tuesday, displaying a blazing red dye job.

“Mirror this! I went red,” she captioned her recent Instagram image, tagging hairstylist Richi Grisillo.

Mendes flaunts her new hair colour and layered cut in the close-up shot while gazing off into the distance and resting her palm on her chin.

The red hairstyle can also be seen in a video the Skura Style sponge businesswoman shared two days after the shot with her dog on December 20 in which she appeared to already have it.

Mendes discussed the significance of mental health during the holidays in a Reel she shared on Christmas Eve, but viewers rightly focused on the wider message. Mendes also slipped in some fantastic hair tossing.

For myself, I don’t care much about appearing to be “joyous” or “happy”—as long as I remember to express gratitude, I’ll allow myself to experience all of the emotions that arise. She continued, “Oh, I went red. I won’t use them to punish others, but I also won’t keep them hidden. For this, thanks to @richi grisillo. I adore him.

Last month, the actress referred to her longtime lover, Ryan Gosling, as her “husband” in an interview with “Today Australia.”

Mendes praised her stay in Australia, saying, “Everyone is fantastic, everybody is welcoming us, it’s been so beautiful.” Ryan, my spouse, is here. and now that our kids are here, we are enjoying ourselves immensely.
