Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who have been accused of ‘blackmailing’ the royal family amid rumours surrounding the release of their second book, should reconsider their policy because all of their stunts are reportedly undermining their credibility.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s attack on the royal family, particularly the Prince and Princess of Wales, has severely harmed their own reputation in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Sussexes must swallow a bitter pill, as their popularity has plummeted not only in the UK, but also in the United States. According to an Ipsos Mori poll released this week, William and Kate are still the most popular royals in the UK, despite the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare.

According to a Newsweek poll, as much as Spare has harmed the Royal Family, it may not have helped Harry and Meghan’s popularity in the United States.

According to Express UK, Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, a royal expert and historian, accused Meghan and Harry of hogging the spotlight. “The thing is, of course, that this is supposed to be the first of a four book deal and we’ve had him almost blackmailing the Royal Family saying ‘oh, well, I left the most sensational pieces out of the book,” Mankoo said.
