Prince Harry has claimed that he and Meghan Markle were ‘jealous’ of the furnishings Kate Middleton and Prince William had in their royal residence, while they had to settle with IKEA.

The Duke of Sussex claimed to being envious of William and Kate’s luxurious furniture in Kensington Palace in a leaked excerpt from his bombshell biography Spare, which was viewed for the first time yesterday ahead of its global release next Tuesday.

Spare, Prince Harry’s autobiography, which is set to be published on January 10 but has already gone on sale in Spain, lays raw his thoughts about how the Royal Family treated him, makes a series of claims about the Firm and contains new bombshell discoveries.

Harry’s astonishing comments are the latest evidence of a developing schism between himself and the Royal Family.

Part of the 410-page book mentions the Prince and Princess of Wales‘ wood bookshelves and precious art in their home.

According to the Telegraph, Harry then adds that he and Meghan were forced to make do with an IKEA lamp and a bargain sofa purchased from sofa.com using Meghan’s credit card.

Meanwhile, royal insiders say Prince Harry will “never be forgiven” for sharing details of intimate discussions with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, in his stunning biography.

According to sources close to the Royal Family, Harry, who now resides in Montecito, California, would be labelled a “traitor” as a result of Spare, which includes allegations that William assaulted him as they argued about Meghan.

“I believe he will never be forgiven. After everything he has said about privacy and intrusion, this is hard to comprehend. His words are so vicious and targeted.

“I don’t doubt he still loves his father and his brother, but it’s impossible to see how he won’t come to bitterly regret his decision to do this.”

They added: “He knows he will be labelled a traitor, by crossing a red line so many times, his father, his brother, the Princess (of Wales) and Camilla, it’s utterly extraordinary.”
