Jamie Lynn scolded by Britney Spears for whining of being her sister
After Jamie Lynn Spears complained about being linked to the pop singer on Fox’s new reality series “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” Britney Spears criticized Jamie Lynn Spears once more.
“Are we going to imply that being my sister was difficult? It makes me wonder: “Really??” Britney, 41, wrote on Friday in an Instagram caption.
The “Hold Me Closer” singer continued by informing her more than 41 million fans that, while she toiled away in her protracted Las Vegas residency, her loved ones were lavished with champagne and spa days while she was forbidden from enjoying such everyday pleasures as coffee.
“We teach her the MEANING OF MEAN, but in the end, we cast her out with no sense of self!!!! You want me to broadcast it on TV? Britney went on. “That’s all my family has ever been to me,” one person wrote on Instagram. “I’d rather spit in their faces and trash them.”
The Grammy winner then asserted that throughout her contentious conservatorship, which managed her medical, financial, and personal affairs for almost 14 years, she experienced nerve damage.
The stringent court order, which her estranged father, Jamie Spears, established in 2008, was ultimately revoked in November 2021.
I was never a big deal, therefore I won’t be a victim or cry about it. I had no rights for 4 months and sat in a chair for 10 hours a day,” claimed Britney, who was allegedly placed into a mental health facility at the beginning of 2019.
“I was harmed by [my family] and nothing was done, except that I lost 15 years of my life with my family using my name.” being forced to be an angel when my dad is enjoying that cup of coffee on his tour bus with five women in it… It must have been enjoyable to use my name for 15 years to be so cool and fluid.
The pop icon addressed Jamie Lynn, 31, directly as she wrapped up her speech.
She wrote, “It honestly blows my mind the struggles you claim you’ve had with having me as your sister. I’m sorry you feel that way, but please don’t ever prod at my injured foot in the kitchen and tell me I need to see a doctor because I might spread an infection to your royal children!
Jamie Lynn admitted on this week’s “Special Forces” debut that she “[struggles] with self-esteem” as Britney’s younger sibling. She and husband Jamie Watson are the parents of daughters Maddie, 14, and Ivey, 4.
The “Zoey 101” alum remarked, “Growing up, my sister became famous, worldwide renowned, when I was very little.
“I adore her dearly and am incredibly proud of her, but I don’t know. She continued, “There are times when I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.
Jamie Lynn reaffirmed in a confessional that she was “very pleased” of her sister’s success but wished to find her “own identity” apart from being Britney’s sibling.
The siblings’ bond has been strained for a long time. The worst came in January 2022 when Jamie Lynn referenced Britney approximately 300 times in her autobiography, “Things I Should Have Said.”
Britney alleged that her younger sister “exploited [her] for monetary advantage” in a second cease and desist letter, which Page Six was the only outlet to get.
However, in a December Instagram post, Britney applauded Jamie Lynn for “showing guts and glory” and called her “brave” and “inspiring.” Fans of the “Crossroads” actress were perplexed as to whether she was making a conciliatory gesture or being sarcastic.
For their roles in her conservatorship, Britney has previously stated that she would like to “sue [her] family,” not sparing her brother Bryan or mother Lynne Spears, who she has accused of coming up with the conservatorship concept with former business manager Lou Taylor.
Britney has also stated that she wants her father to be arrested and jailed for “conservatorship abuse.”
