He described how the lovebirds’ Georgia wedding, which took place over a month after they were officially wed in Las Vegas in July 2022, was centred on meditation and introspection. Shetty declared, “The ceremony was influenced by mindfulness and meditation. The event started with a mindfulness exercise to encourage everyone to be fully present, to bring their best selves to the occasion, and to sincerely celebrate love.”

The author of Think Like a Monk claimed that he spent “weeks” getting ready for the wedding by making an effort to “really understand” J.Lo and Affleck.

“My strategy was really listening to the couple, getting to know what they wanted in terms of energy and other factors, and getting to know their background, he continued. “By through and with them, I mean. sincerely and intimately. I feel almost a part of everyone [I am officiating],” Shetty continued.

“For me, this typically involves weeks of meditation and planning—not just for the words I will use, but also for the internal place I will occupy.” The former monk had previously told Entertainment Tonight that it was a “honour” to officiate at the wedding of one of Hollywood’s most adored couples.
