Jeremy Renner 52-year-old Renner posted a picture to his Instagram Story that appeared to show his home in the Reno, Nevada, area covered in a thick layer of snow, with additional snowbanks, roofs, and trees also covered in the white stuff.

I am missing my happy place, As he continues to heal in the hospital following a snowplough accident on the property on New Year’s Day, Renner wrote in the caption.

After a major snowstorm in the neighborhood, Renner ploughed his driveway and assisted his neighbors remove snow on January 1 when he was run over by a “very huge piece of snow-removal equipment” he owned, representatives and witnesses said.

He underwent emergency surgery the following day after sustaining “blunt chest damage and orthopedic injuries,” according to a statement from his rep.

The most recent update from Renner, who spent his 52nd birthday on January 7 in the hospital, came last Friday when he uploaded a video to his Instagram Story of a nurse escorting him into a room for a medical scan. I hope you all have a very special evening, he remarked over the video.

Last Wednesday, a source close to Renner told that while the actor is recovering, he still has “a long road to recovery.”

The insider added, “Jeremy is making good progress,” reiterating Kym Renner’s comments to that The Avengers actor was “busting all development targets.”

Evangeline Lilly, Hailee Steinfeld, and Chris Hemsworth are just a few of the famous people who have expressed their support for Jeremy Renner since the actor was admitted to the hospital. Lilly, 43, wrote on Instagram that Renner has “always been one of the most grounded and real people I ever met in Hollywood.”

According to a source who spoke, as Renner sets off on the long path of healing, the letters have warmed his heart.

“If anyone knows Jeremy, he is a fighter and doesn’t mess around,” sister Kym recently told  about her brother’s progress. “He is crushing all the progress goals. We couldn’t feel more positive about the road ahead.”

The actor gave his first update to fans on Jan. 3, posting a hospital bed selfie to Instagram and thanking well-wishers for their support. “Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
