Kathy Griffin re-posted a tape of Bravo boss Andy Cohen acting as if he didn’t know her in 2017 after taking her place as CNN’s co-host on New Year’s Eve, continuing a bitter New Year’s Eve tradition.

“Ugh. Around New Year’s Eve every year, someone gives me this video, stated 62-year-old Griffin in the caption.

I worked for this man for a long time. I made the decision to work at Bravo or not. Can you image watching your former boss in this situation on TMZ? Ouch! Anyhow, I’m looking forward to seeing Miley and Dolly tonight.

For a response on Saturday, The Post contacted a Cohen representative.

In the video from October 2017, which quickly garnered 13,000 likes on Griffin’s Instagram on Saturday, a TMZ reporter questions Cohen about how he and Anderson Cooper were chosen to do the ball drop.

“Have you spoken to Kathy in the interim in any way? Did you initially discuss it with her before accepting it? Cohen answers, “Who,” when the reporter questions him.

The interviewer calls out, “Kathy Griffin!” He again responds, “Who?”

Cohen, 54, says, “I don’t know her.

The reporter is baffled by the talk show host’s refusal to acknowledge that he knows his former coworker as he attempts to clarify who he means when he refers to “Kathy Griffin” as the “ex-host” of the show. Cohen grins silly before the camera and says he doesn’t understand why it’s news to him.

The “Watch What Happens Live” anchor revealed he was making an unsuccessful Mariah Carey impression at the moment.

Griffin co-hosted CNN’s New Year’s extravaganza for almost ten years before the show fired her in 2017.

The controversial comedian was let go after an internet image of her carrying a fictitious severed head that resembled Donald Trump’s went viral. Cohen was among the famous pals Griffin lost.

In the intervening years, she has referred to Cohen as “one of the worst bosses I’ve ever had” and said he “treated me like a dog.” Griffin held a variety of positions at Bravo from 2005 through 2013, including hosting her own talk show, “Kathy,” and acting in the reality series “My Life on the D-List.”

Early this year, she rekindled their feud by admitting she “hate-watched” Cohen and Cooper ring in 2022.
Cooper and Cohen have previously exchanged barbs while being silenced by the time midnight rolls around. However, the two are apparently starting dry January one night early because they won’t be drinking during their broadcast, which is usually full of inebriated antics.

Cohen told Page Six this week, “We aren’t drinking, but we’re going to have a BLAST.

Griffin, on the other hand, has vowed to watch Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton this year instead. The legendary pair will open New Year’s Eve on NBC and Peacock, and country music great Dolly Parton says it will be “legendary.”
