Kim Kardashian‘s honey-colored, shoulder-length, and somewhat damp hair are swept to one side as she performs a lip-sync to “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with her daughter North in a video posted to their joint Instagram account.

It’s probable that the video was taken when Kardashian, 42, was changing from the platinum blond hairstyle she’s been sporting since the 2022 Met Gala—a crucial part of her metamorphosis into Marilyn Monroe for the evening—to her more natural brunette.

In September, the celebrity said of her lighter locks, “I’m keeping it for a little time. “I think I’ll go dark in the fall since I don’t want to harm my hair,” she said. But I do believe blondes enjoy themselves more. I just sense a change.

It was no small task to bleach Kardashian’s hair for the Met; as she recalled to Vogue at the time, the entire process took 14 hours.

Chris Appleton, Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist, told E! News during the event that “it really is a process.” We both knew it would be a lengthy session, so we were completely at ease and prepared to go. Kim has already applied the colour. She is aware.

In fact, the inventor of Skims has experimented with many hair colours over the years, most recently testing a honey shade during Art Basel in Miami in early December.
