The royal fans have been wished “a very happy and healthy 2023” by King Charles and other members of the royal family.

The British royal family made its first social media post of the year, wishing supporters a ‘Happy New Year.’

“As we say farewell to 2022, The King’s Piper plays ‘Auld Lang Syne’ at Buckingham Palace,” Buckingham Palace said in a video posted on its official Twitter and Instagram accounts on behalf of King Charles.

“Wishing all our followers a very happy and healthy 2023. #HappyNewYear.”

It is the royal family’s first post of 2023.

Shortly after it was posted, the video gained thousands of views and likes.

Royal admirers also wished King Charles, Camilla, and the rest of the royal family a joyous New Year.

“Auld Lang Syne” is a well-known folk song, especially in the English-speaking world.

It is traditionally performed at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve to bid farewell to the old year.
