Taking a journey down memory lane, The Hills alum Matt Leinart, 36, who won the Heisman Trophy while playing quarterback for the University of Southern California from 2001 to 2005, recalled their high school romance.

“Matt and I are still excellent friends. On their Dear Media podcast, Back to the Beach, Kristin said to Stephen Colletti, “Matt is the sweetest person on the planet. He is such a wonderful man.

“I dated him when I was 18, the second half of my senior year. He was a five-year senior at USC,” she added. “He was on top of the world that year. I was so excited about it, clearly, like no chill whatsoever but it was a big deal for me.”

The 39-year-old current Fox Sports analyst was then referred to by Colletti as his co-“first host’s quarterback.”

The 10-year marriage between Cavallari and former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler ended in divorce in 2020, as is well known to fans.

“Oh my God, that QB! I will admit that I have dated a few athletes in the past “She answered.
