Mahekk Chahal is one of the most well-known figures in the entertainment world, with a large fan base. Unfortunately, Mahekk was recently hospitalized in Mumbai and was on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. After being diagnosed with pneumonia, the actress’ health deteriorated.

Mahekk Chahal diagnosed with pneumonia:

Mahekk Chahal revealed that she had ‘pneumonia,’ spent 3-4 days in the ICU, and was on an oxygen ventilator. Mahekk explained how her condition deteriorated, saying she fell on January 2 and couldn’t take a single breath. Mahekk was then brought to the hospital and immediately admitted, and a CT scan was performed. The Naagin 6 actress was hospitalized for eight days before being transferred to a regular ward as her health improved. Mahekk indicated that pneumonia had affected both of her lungs.

Mahekk stated that she was terrified since she couldn’t breathe and was on the verge of passing out. It was terrible for her every time she coughed. Only Mahekk’s close friends and co-stars from her program Naagin 6 were aware of her situation. Two days after the actress was admitted, her mother flew over from Norway. According to Mahekk, her continual travels and disregard for her cold and cough caused a catastrophic issue. “I believed I had a typical cold, so I started doing all the cures,” she explained. I didn’t understand how bad the cold and cough were. I don’t want to take any chances right now, so I’m going to get completely fit first.

Mahekk Chahal shares health update

Mahekk took to Instagram today to share a video of her health update with her admirers. “Hey people, I’m just shooting a video today that I’m fine, lot better,” Mahekk remarked in this footage. I assume I developed pneumonia because I neglected a cold I had. I was on the road a lot for work. I visited Chicago, then Delhi, which was bitterly chilly, and Jaipur. I merely assumed I had a common cold cough, so it turned out that it wasn’t pneumonia. Because I was simply ignoring it and going about my business. So, if you get pain in your chest while inhaling or coughing, don’t ignore it; see a doctor.

Prior to this, Mahekk posted a touching statement on Instagram about her health status, writing, “I recently recovered from Pneumonia, am feeling much better, and am now able to rest at home. But I must express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your love and support. Your thoughts and prayers have helped me get through these difficult times. I just need some time to rest with my family before returning to entertaining you all.” Tejasswi Prakash commented on Mahekk’s post, “I miss you at the shoot,” while Sana Makbul said, “Take care.” “Rest it out, sweetie,” said Arjun Bijlani, while many more sent their well wishes to Mahekk.
