The Princess of Wales wanted Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress for Prince Harry’s wedding altered, and Meghan Markle was left in tears, According to the Duke’s new memoir.

It has long been rumored that Kate and Meghan had a falling out over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid gown for the 2018 royal wedding. Previous stories said Meghan made a heavily pregnant Kate cry, but Meghan claimed the contrary during her Oprah Winfrey interview.

And it looks like Harry has opened up about what happened for the first time in his new memoir, Spare. The book doesn’t come out until next week, but an excerpt obtained by Page Six includes Harry’s account of the now-famous row.

He recalls that the argument occurred a week before his wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. According to the book, the little gowns were hand-sewn based on measurements, thus it was natural that some would require adjustments.

According to Media sources, Kate messaged Meghan to warn her that Charlotte’s outfit was “too big, long and loose” and that the youngster “broke into tears when she tried it on”.

According to the book, Kate was ordered to bring Charlotte and the dress to a tailor, but the then-Duchess of Cambridge said the dress needed to be reconstructed, and her wedding gown designer agreed.

However, it is then claimed that Kate did take Charlotte to the tailor, with Harry noting that he later discovered Meghan in tears as a result of this. He does, however, note that Kate afterward apologized and handed Meghan flowers and a card.

The incident with the outfits was also discussed in Meghan and Harry’s explosive Oprah Winfrey interview almost two years ago.

According to insiders, the two women argued about a detail of the clothes, causing Kate, who was pregnant with Prince Louis at the time, to cry.

Meghan, on the other hand, said in her history interview that it was the other way around.
