Prince Harry exposed himself to “jihadists” with claim killing Taliban
Prince Harry has put himself and his family in “grave risk” from “jihadists,” a British military veteran has warned, after claiming to have killed 25 Taliban in Afghanistan.
The shocking assertion was made by the Duke of Sussex in his incendiary memoir Spare, which was unintentionally published five days earlier than planned in Spain on January 5, 2023.
For somebody, who wants privacy and security, he’s just thrown himself up to every terrorist and nutcase out there, said Major General Chip Chapman, a battalion commander in the Falklands conflict, in response to the accusation.
Maj Gen Chapman, who formerly oversaw the Ministry of Defense’s counterterrorism division, also mentioned that books by veterans like Prince Harry frequently omit “critical data such as losses in Iraq or Afghanistan.”
The similar opinion was expressed by Colonel Richard Kemp, who has also served in Afghanistan. He told: “In terms of the numbers he’s talking about… He himself is already under threat for his own secret and by resurrecting it in quite such stark terms now undermines his own security.”
“That sort of figure that doesn’t need to be given. It will remind people that 10 years ago there was this very high-profile man killing people that they might have sympathy for in Afghanistan and might well be provoked to attempt revenge,” Kemp stated.
