A Prince Harry lookalike has been forced to wear a disguise in public because he fears for his life after the royal revealed his ‘kill count,’ infuriating the Taliban.

The Duke of Sussex has been chastised for revealing in his new memoir Spare that he killed 25 members of an Islamic fundamentalist group while serving in Afghanistan.

According to international security expert Will Geddes, Harry has “played beautifully into the hands of the Taliban” by putting his family in the firing line for a possible revenge attack.

However, the Prince’s remarks have also put Rhys Whittock in jeopardy.

After Harry’s recent revelations, the 39-year-old has been forced to disguise himself, and he believes he is a target for terrorists seeking vengeance.

Mr Whittock has been working as a Prince Harry lookalike since 2017 and has toured the world with his uncanny resemblance to the fifth-in-line to the throne.

After his mother begged him not to be mistaken for the Prince, the lookalike has taken to disguising himself in public.

“I started to feel uneasy when I heard that Harry was talking about his time in the army. said the man, who is originally from Cardiff but does not want to reveal where he currently lives in the UK due to the terror threat.

“My mum texted me and it left me with goosebumps. It just said: ‘Because of Harry’s admission in the army he is now a target. You need to wear glasses in public’.

“People mistake me for Harry every single day so it is a worry when you’re the lookalike of someone facing a sudden increase in security threats.
