As they make millions from their lucrative media deals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of seeking to join the “Hollywood super-rich elite.”

Early in 2020, after they gave up their positions as working members of the Royal Family, the couple moved from the UK to the US.

There were rumours that the eye-watering $100 million (£82 million) deal that Harry and Meghan struck with the online streaming juggernaut Netflix in September of that year was worth.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have signed an exclusive arrangement with Spotify for their Archewell Audio podcast series in 2021, earning them a staggering $25 million.

Harry revealed a hefty multi-book agreement with Penguin Random House that same year. The English-language edition of the prince’s candid book “Spare,” which was published earlier this week, sold more than 1.4 million copies on its first day of release, breaking a previous record.
