Sarah Michelle Gellar 45-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by James Marsters, a former castmate from the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

For the big occasion, Gellar wore a floral little dress with burgundy heels and chandelier earrings, and Marsters, who played British vampire Spike on the show, sported a monochrome black ensemble.

The 50-year-old Marsters joined the cast of the supernatural drama series in season three of its seven-season run from 1997 to 2003.

The 25th anniversary of the show was commemorated by the two parties last year.

“On this day 25 years ago, I had the privilege of introducing the world to my interpretation of Buffy Anne Summers. She wrote in the caption of a throwback image of herself on the show is set, “It was an uphill struggle. A midseason replacement on a new network that was based on a movie “was by no means a huge hit.”

The actress from Scooby-Doo said, “But then there was you. the admirers You had faith in us. That is what you did. You are the reason we are still celebrating 25 years later. We are therefore also celebrating you today. #wwbd.”

On the anniversary of the show, Marsters also discussed its legacy.

Despite celebrating the show’s success, Gellar recently opened up about her complicated feelings about her time on the show. In fact, Gellar doesn’t think she’ll ever tell the “full story” of the toxic environment show creator Joss Whedon allegedly created on set.

“I’ve come to a good place with it, where it’s easier to talk about,” Gellar told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ll never tell my full story because I don’t get anything out of it. I’ve said all I’m going to say because nobody wins. Everybody loses.”.

For the entire seven years that the programme ran, Gellar had to deal with a lot of bulls—-, her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. told the outlet. Despite the pressure they put on her, the lack of credit or a genuine wage, and the fact that she frequently worked alone for 15 hours a day, she was nevertheless able to effectively convey the character’s message every single week.

I am not the only one dealing with this, and I hope the legacy has not changed, Gellar said. I hope it returns the success to those who put in the most effort. I will always be happy with Buffy. I will always be happy for my cast mates.
