Pakistani cricketers typically avoid disclosing their romantic relationships in public.

However, during his most recent interview with a local media, Shan Masood is all set to marry this month and was open about his love life.

The left-handed batsman was engaged to Nische Khan and recently selected vice-captain of the nation’s ODI team for the New Zealand series.

The 33-year-old revealed details about his relationship with his future wife by acknowledging his friendship with Khan, a Peshawar native. He referred to Nische as his best buddy and described these times as “the most exhilarating of his life.”

Shan recalled meeting Nishce for the first time in Lahore and praised the great improvements in his life that came about as a result of being in a relationship.

The cool-headed batsman declared that he finds it enjoyable to date someone with a different background, which reflects a multicultural mix. At the age of 33, he said, he came to the realization that other things, particularly relationships, are of utmost value in life.

A digital invitation card for the cricketer appeared online last month. The wedding card states, “Shan marries Nische,” verifying the date of the Walima on January 27. As the Walima, the second of the two customary components of an Islamic wedding, will take place on January 27.

On January 21 in the city of Peshawar in northern Pakistan, Shan is scheduled to get married.
