Aamir Khan, R Madhavan & Sharman Joshi reunited for a fun video
Aamir Khan and R Madhavan appeared in a video with their co-star Sharman Joshi ahead of the release of his Gujarati film Congratulations. Fans were overjoyed to see the main cast of 3 Idiots reunite on Instagram after 14 years.
They portrayed the well-known characters Rancho (Aamir), Farhan (Madhavan), and Raju in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2009 film (Sharman). A few fans also wished for a sequel to bring their favourite characters back.
Sharman posted a video on Instagram on Friday in which he ‘tried’ to talk about his Gujarati film Congratulations, which he also produced. “3 idiots are promoting “congratulations” film which is releasing today.” he wrote.
As the actor begins to introduce his film, he is interrupted by Madhavan, who approaches him and inquires about it. They have a scene where Madhavan and later Aamir Khan are both confused about the film’s title and believe Sharman is congratulating them.
He becomes frustrated and later requests that the camera follow him to the side where he will attempt to record the promo again.
The three actors are dressed in matching red uniforms and are on a cricket pitch. Both Aamir and Madhavan are wearing a black jacket over their uniforms, and Aamir is also wearing leg guards.
Manasi Parekh, Sharman’s co-star in Congratulations, tweeted, “This is epic!!!!” “Haha awesome,” wrote his sister Mansi Joshi Roy.
Their fans were overjoyed to see them together. “So good to see you guys together after so long,” one fan said. “Sir isska aik part aur banna chahie (another film should be made),” said another. Another fan agreed, saying, “We want #3idiotsagain #3idiotssequel.” “On my god the greatest character of Indian cinema Rancho, Raju, Farhan,” said another.
Congratulations, directed by Rehan Chaudhary, stars Sharman as a man who becomes pregnant after his wife is unable to have a child due to a miscarriage.
He was most recently seen in the Hindi film Babloo Bachelor (2021). Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, was Aamir’s most recent project (1994).
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, a biopic about scientist Nambi Narayanan in which he also starred, was R Madhavan’s directorial debut last year.
