The engagement between Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun has ended. The breakup was confirmed by the “Sk8er Boi” singer’s representatives on Tuesday.

Mod Sun, 35, seemed to be surprised by the breakup. According to his rep, “if anything has changed, that’s news to him,” because “they were together and engaged as of three days ago” when he went on tour.

We are informed that the “Karma” singer, who is presently on tour, has no intention of slowing down despite appearing to be taken by surprise.

His representative continues, “The show will go on tonight, tomorrow, and throughout the remainder of the tour.

According to reports, the former couple experienced problems in recent months that led to several breaks and reconciliations until they decided to call it quits permanently.

The breakup was not brought on by infidelity. As of Tuesday afternoon, Lavigne, 38, and Mod Sun appeared to be getting along since they both still follow one another on social media.

The information was released just a few days after Lavigne was seen making love to rapper Tyga at Nobu in Malibu, California, on a weekend.

The “Complicated” singer was photographed hugging the 33-year-old rapper from “Rack City,” which led to rumors about her relationship with Mod Sun.

Despite spending a lot of time together recently, it was not apparent whether Lavigne and Tyga were dating. It is unclear exactly when Lavigne made the decision to end her romance with Mod Sun.
