With the success of her debut film Cinderella, Camila Cabello is moving forward in her acting career.

According to the media, the singer of Don’t Go Yet has joined the cast of the upcoming movie Rob Peace.

The Brief and Tragic Life of Robert Peace: A Talented Young Man Who Left Newark for the Ivy League, a 2014 best-selling biography, is the basis for the film Rob Peace.

The movie, which is currently in production, will tell the life story of the late Yale graduate Robert Peace, who struggled to make a living as both a cancer researcher and a marijuana dealer before being assassinated in 2011 during a drug raid. Peace made hundreds of thousands of dollars during his lifetime.

Blige and Ejiofor play the young man’s parents, and Cabello plays Peace’s Yale classmate Naya.

In 2020, the Senorita singer made her debut in a feature film playing the title role in Cinderella on Amazon Prime Video.
