With Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa officially leaving the franchise and Michael B. Jordan taking to the director’s chair, Creed 3 unquestionably has some large shoes to fill (Adonis “Donnie” Creed). Jordan has made it clear that he intends to take the franchise in a new direction, and being the first sports movie to be shot in IMAX is undoubtedly a start. Stallone may have said goodbye to the project, ending his 46-year tenure as the boxing hero.

The use of Dolby technology, which promises improved sound quality for movies, elevates the movie even higher. Dolby has released a new movie commercial ahead of the film’s premiere, hinting at the immersive experience viewers can expect.

The new clip uses a reel of different shots to demonstrate the power of sound. These shots include Donnie throwing a series of hard punches, situations with featherweight footwork, and instances of deadly quiet. “In Creed 3 there’s so many things in our movie that will feel and look better in the movie theater. You wanna hear sounds of the footsteps, the punches, the music, the lack of sound, really immerse yourself into the entire world,” Jordan said.
