Following the former reality star’s conviction for wire fraud, Heather Gay is no longer Jen Shah’s “ride-or-die” best friend.

The 48-year-old Gay supported Shah during Season 3 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” but she claimed that “everything changed for me when she pled guilty.”

Gay told on Monday, “I was called ride-or-die because I had a friend who was looking at me and assuring me she was innocent.”

She said, “Now my emphasis is on the victims, her family, and the collateral effects of this crime that she admitted to and continues to commit.” And I only want the complete healing of everyone.

Shah defended her innocence up until July 2022, when she astonished everyone by entering a guilty plea before the case went to trial, even her closest friends.

She later received a six-and-a-half-year prison term for organizing a national telemarketing campaign that mostly targeted the elderly.

Shah was absent from the most recent “RHOSLC” reunion, but that didn’t stop her co-stars from talking about her legal problems.
Actually, it was made public that Shah and her husband Sharrieff had enlisted the aid of a few of their friends to help them with their mounting legal costs.

Gay asserted that “friend of the cast” Angie Harrington “gave [the Shahs] money,” stating “I did not give them money, but I know individuals on this couch did.”

Gay is “overwhelmed with grief” over the circumstance, but she isn’t prepared to end their friendship completely.

In the reunion, she stated, “She admitted she committed fraud, she’s going to prison, and she’s making $15 million restitution, and I believe me being harsh to her or upset at her is just a virtue signal to the world and doesn’t do anybody good.”

“And I’ve come this far with her; I’m not giving her up now.”

The marketing expert is set to begin her prison term on February 17, and given her anticipated absence, it seems Mary Cosby will be making a surprise appearance as a “friend of the cast” to stir things up.
