For a spontaneous performance of the song Kudi Chamkeeli from the upcoming film Selfiee, Akshay Kumar and Honey Singh got together. On Saturday, the song from the actor’s upcoming movie was made public. Honey for Selfiee has written, sang, and composed Kudi Chamkeeli. Together with Akshay and his co-star Diana Penty, the singer-composer also made a cameo appearance in the music video.

Akshay posted the video on Instagram and stated, “Introducing Kudi Chamkeeli, which features @yoyohoneysingh and me on-air. On the three-chair challenge, we didn’t perform poorly, did we? Why don’t you guys try it out? Of course, I’ll repost (emoji with an upside-down face).” Akshay wore grey slacks, a white shirt, and sunglasses. Honey Singh was seen wearing a brown jacket and pair of jeans with a black T-shirt. Within the jet, he was wearing sunglasses as well.

Viewers criticized the “amateur” production of Akshay and Honey. One Instagram user said, “Me: who’s gazing at Honey Singh shifting seats in reflection,” and included several laughing face with tears emojis. Another admirer praised the pair, calling them “King of the music industry and Khiladi of Bollywood.” Another fan remarked, “It is very lovely to see them reunited after nine years,” adding, “In dono ko 9 saal baad dekh kar kitni khushi hue hai.”

Raj Mehta’s Hindi version of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence, in which Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu acted, is titled Selfiee. The forthcoming movie, which hits theaters on February 24, was also produced by Akshay and Prithviraj.

The Hindi movie also stars Emraan Hashmi and Nushratt Bharuccha in addition to Akshay and Diana. The main characters of the movie are a superstar, played by Akshay, and his admirer, a police officer, played by Emraan. Emraan’s character promises to assist Akshay, whose character has to get a driver’s license immediately. However, there is a serious animosity that arises between the two when things go south. Dharma Productions, Magic Frames, Prithviraj, Cape of Good Films, and Star Studios are the producers of Selfiee.

Akshay’s first movie to hit theaters this year is Selfiee. In addition, he has the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, and the Jaswant Singh Gill biography scheduled for release. The actor also appears as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat.
