Jane Fonda talks about her “life regrets” for fighting cancer
Jane Fonda, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, recently detailed her regrets in life. She was speaking with CNN’s Chris Wallace when the topic came up. She began by saying that she wished she had handled her three children, Troy Garity, Mary Luana Williams, and Vanessa Vadim, differently.
The 85-year-old continued by saying that even though she has cancer, she is more terrified of “coming to the end of life with a lot of regrets, when there is no time to do anything about it” than of actually dying. “I was not the kind of mother to my kids that I wish I had been. I have wonderful, wonderful kids. Talented. Smart.”
She says, “I just did not know how to do it.” “I have studied parenting, and I run a group in Georgia that works with teenagers. Now I am aware of what should be done. When I did not know. I am now making an effort to appear. The conversation comes after one in which Fonda reiterated similar comments and added, “I think about dying a lot.” with ET’s Denny Directo. During the past 30 years, I have.
“I believe doing it is healthy. If you do not consider death, it is difficult to live well. It is an element of life. “Unlike us, other cultures do not avoid thinking about death as much. I give it a lot of thought, and it has greatly improved my life. In addition, after receiving a cancer diagnosis, you give it even more thought and want to make sure you accomplish all of your goals so you would not look back on them with regret.
