Jennifer Aydin offers her perspective on the rumours circulating around Garden State.

The 45-year-old star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” discusses on the “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast why she rehashed Melissa Gorga’s alleged adultery while filming Season 13 of the show.

Aydin maintains that the purpose of disclosing this information is not to harm Melissa.

Instead, the Bravolebrity wants to discredit Margaret Josephs, her on-screen rival and castmate, whose supposed source for the rumours about Gorga, 43, is Laura Lee Jensen, her ex-best friend.

It’s to demonstrate to everyone [Josephs’] true colours, claims Aydin. “This source is here. Laura, I say, come on. Bring Laura in and let’s fight. Don’t shoot the messenger, for instance.

As seen in the Season 13 teaser for “RHONJ,” Aydin asserted at least once in a conversation with series rookie Danielle Cabral that Melissa had been unfaithful to Joe Gorga, her husband.

She claimed, “He spotted Melissa in the backseat and she was making out with another guy.”

Aydin claims that Jensen made this assertion at a protracted off-camera discussion that also included Teresa Giudice, Melissa’s sister-in-law.

Aydin claims, “I’m repeating something,” and adds, “She’s telling me things that Margaret has told her. Why is Margaret disclosing these details to her?

After Giudice, 50, brought up suspicions that Melissa had cheated on Joe with the couple’s longtime friend, actor Nick Barrotta, tensions erupted last summer. Gorgas, who have been married since 2004 and have three children together, allegedly “laughed off” allegations.

Gorgas nevertheless decided last-minutely not to attend Giudice’s wedding to now-husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas on August 6, 2022.

After that, Melissa said on her “On Display” podcast, “Sometimes when things are too toxic and you try over and over and over again and it just keeps coming back to the same thing, even if it’s family, you have to let it go.”

Melissa claims that despite Aydin’s involvement in disseminating false information about her, she never gave it a second thought.
Aydin “certainly as heck” came for the Gorgas this season, according to Josephs, 55, who has denied having such a conversation with Jensen.
