Madonna used social media to criticize the internet’s vociferous response to her “unrecognizable” face at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The 64-year-old singer said she was eager to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras before their “history-making performance” for “Unholy,” but people were more interested in her appearance. Petras was the first transgender person to perform at an awards show and win a Grammy.
